Patriotism

  We greet you on this weekend that for many represents time off from work, a long weekend, a time to meet with friends, have a picnic etc.   However, we would also like for those of you who are interested to take a moment or two to reflect on just what patriotism is. What is a patriot? A patriot is someone who supports their beliefs in daily living, actively doing what they believe is necessary to create a better county, a better world. Do you do all that is within your capabilities to walk your talk?  It is easy to expect others to step forward and assist your country, your world, the earth. Your country needs you; your world needs you; the earth needs you now as never before—each and everyone of you. You each have a part to play in the outcome of your lives between now and 2012. This weekend, you celebrate patriotism. Celebrate also who YOU are and all that you do and will do for your planet.  Give heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before you, and who have stepped forward bravely assuring your freedoms. The time is now for this generation to step forth, so that freedom may be yours now and forever more. Just a reminder!
